Is the wedding on the beach? The ceremony is not directly on the beach. It is over looking the beach from the Breaker’s Deck.

What do I wear? Women: A dress or skirt whether it be a sundress or something a little more formal. Keep in mind that this is not a black tie affair even though it is an evening wedding. Men: Suit or slacks and dress shirt or polo shirt, dress shoes or flip flops. If you are in a tux, you are probably going to feel over dressed. Most of the guests I talked to are going more towards the dressy side. And yes, flip flops are ok. The bride and groom are both wearing them

Where do I park?  There are many parking lots at the Embassy Suites. A parking pass will be given upon entering. Valet parking is also available at the hotel for $15.

What is the weather like?  So far the highs during the day have been in upper60’s/low 70’s with lows in the upper 50’s/lower 60’s. It is supposed to get chilly in the evenings. A cold from is to move through. 40’s are possible! Bring a jacket. Check www.weather.com for the most current information.

Can I swim in the ocean?  Yes, the water temperature is about 75 degrees. It is about the same water temperature as Ocean City, Maryland in the summer. If there is a strong ocean breeze though, it may seem cooler when you get out of the water.

 What is the “Southern Hospitality” Party?  It is a casual dinner party treating our out of town guest to the best BBQ in all of South Carolina. Come hungry!!

 What if it rains? If it rains, all events will take place in the Palmetto Pavilion.
